DESCRIPTION:Meet Nacho Isa\, founder of 343 Labs\, and learn about the spectrum of Music Production courses available at 343 labs\, including the 1-Year Producer Program\, offered in NYC\, Berlin and online. Ask questions about the program\, meet some of the instructors\, and get a feel for the community. Instructor Matthew Martinez will be giving a beginner-level demo on how to create a track in real-time and share his unique approach to music production. This session is a free event and will be hosted on Zoom\, open to anyone interested in diving into Music Production. \nAbout the Instructors: \nMatthew Martinez is a producer\, DJ\, and educator with nearly a decade of teaching experience and over 20 years of musicianship. Born in the United States and now based in Berlin\, Matthew continues to inspire the next generation of electronic music producers as both an artist and educator. He is graduate of Berklee College of Music with a bachelor’s in Electronic Production & Design and a master’s in Music Production\, Technology\, and Innovation. \nKnown by his artist moniker Sentient Number Six\, he has released music with respected international psytrance collectives like Post-Modern Music and Gaggalacka\, with one of his tracks breaking into Beatport’s top 100 releases of the genre. SUMMARY:Finishing Music in Ableton Live & 343 Labs Berlin Open House
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a free workshop geared to intermediate producers interested in learning techniques and exercises to finish more tracks with Ableton Live. Berlin producer and 343 Labs instructor Owen Ross explains some of his favorite strategies for finish music\, and previews aspects of the curriculum of 343 Labs Finishing Music Mastery and Electronic Music Composition and Arrangement courses. This workshop is designed for people who have some familiarity with producing music\, and people who have produced with Ableton or other software. There are no prerequisites to joining\, and you are not required to bring a laptop or any other materials. \nDuring the event\, 343 Labs will be opening its doors for an Open House\, where attendees can tour the facilities\, learn about 343 Labs courses\, and meet some of the instructors. This is a great way to get a feel for the community and programs at 343 Labs\, meet fellow producers\, and ask any questions you may have about our school. \nAbout the artists: \nOwen is a Berlin-based producer\, guitarist\, and music educator with a decade of experience bridging the worlds of live guitar playing and modern music production. A Berklee College of Music graduate\, he has worked across hip-hop\, electronic\, pop\, and global music — with credits including The Who\, Jazzanova\, Jaykae\, and Shekhinah — and has contributed multiple commercial sample packs to Splice. \nAs both a guitarist who produces and a producer who plays guitar\, Owen has spent years solving the same problem his students face: getting guitar to sit right in a modern mix. That question is what led him to build Guitar Mix Toolkit Vol. 1 — a set of Ableton tools designed specifically for producers who play guitar.
