SUMMARY:Finishing Tracks With Biesmans - Live Studio Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Most producers don’t have an unfinished track problem. They have a too-much-going-on problem. Too many elements\, too many layers\, too many decisions left unmade. The track loses its identity somewhere in the process. \nThis workshop is about finding it again. \n  \nBiesmans — Berlin-based producer and DJ with nearly 30 years in the house and techno scene — opens up his actual working process in real time. No slides\, no theory\, no tutorial. Just a real track getting meaningfully better in front of the room. \nHow it works: \nParticipants submit an unfinished track in advance. Biesmans selects one\, preps it\, and works on it live during the session — talking through every decision as he makes it. The rest of the time is open Q&A where participants can bring their own questions and challenges. \nFormat: \n\nDuration: 3 hours\nParticipants submit one track + one question before the workshop\nLive session: 90–120 minutes\nOpen Q&A: 60 minutes\nWrap + next steps: 15 minutes\n\nAbout the artists: \nI’m Biesmans—Belgian-born\, Berlin-based. I make “Heart Groove”: house music that’s supposed to do three things: make you move\, make you feel something\, and connect you with the people around you. \nThe sound? Warm grooves\, analog synths\, melodies you’ll remember on the way home. Nothing overly complicated. Music that works on a dance floor — the kind that needs a few hours to really take you somewhere. \nI’ve played some incredible club spaces: Panoramabar\, Fabric\, Fuse\, Dedge. Festival stages: Tomorrowland\, Pukkelpop\, Exit\, Fusion. And plenty more rooms in between. \nMy music’s been released on Running Back\, Turbo Recordings\, Correspondant\, and my own label Muem Records. Made an album called Trains\, Planes and Automobiles\, and put together the Watergate 28 compilation with people like Mathew Jonson\, Zombies in Miami\, Kasper Bjørke\, and Shubostar. \nI’m passionate about synths — spend way too much time in the studio messing with machines and posting (POVs) about it. That’s how the music gets made: trial\, error\, and finding sounds that hit right. Currently working on a new album for 2026. Same mission as always: create moments on dancefloors where people lose themselves\, feel good\, and remember why they love this music in the first place. \nLinks: \nSoundcloud\nInstagram \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n TICKETS ON EVENTBRITE \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n  \nBy attending this event\, you acknowledge that you may be photographed or recorded.
