SUMMARY:Ableton For Guitarists with Owen Ross
DESCRIPTION:Producers who play guitar often hit the same wall: the guitar sounds good\, but getting it to sit right in a modern mix is another story. Owen Ross built Guitar Mix Toolkit Vol. 1 to solve exactly that — and in this session he’s demonstrating it publicly for the first time.\nAbleton User Group Berlin is open to producers\, songwriters\, DJs\, and musicians of all types and proficiency levels who use Ableton and are looking to exchange ideas\, network\, meet like-minded producers\, and learn new tips and tricks from our presenters and fellow participants. \nAbout the Artist: \nOwen is a Berlin-based producer\, guitarist\, and music educator with a decade of experience bridging the worlds of live guitar playing and modern music production. A Berklee College of Music graduate\, he has worked across hip-hop\, electronic\, pop\, and global music — with credits including The Who\, Jazzanova\, Jaykae\, and Shekhinah — and has contributed multiple commercial sample packs to Splice.\n \nAs both a guitarist who produces and a producer who plays guitar\, Owen has spent years solving the same problem his students face: getting guitar to sit right in a modern mix. That question is what led him to build Guitar Mix Toolkit Vol. 1 — a set of Ableton tools designed specifically for producers who play guitar. He teaches music production and songwriting at 343 Labs in Berlin.\n\nLinks:\nWebsite\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n FREE RSVP HERE

SUMMARY:Raw Image EP release - Live Electronic Showcase at Madame Claude
DESCRIPTION:On Friday March 27th\, 343 Labs takes over Madame Claude for a live set electronic showcase to celebrate the release of a new hardware techno project Raw Image. Entry is free / by donation. Come for an evening of inspiring electronic music by 343 Labs staff and graduates with a decidedly live\, hardware and improvisational approach. \n \nRaw Image\, the live techno duo from Leo Wieber and Cameron Hoy (Keanu Raves)\, have been collaborating together since meeting through a summer internship at Berlin-based music production school 343 Labs in 2025. The pair quickly bonded over a shared appreciation for Tresor Records and hardware focused techno production which inspired them to begin regular improvised jam sessions together. \nThrough these sessions\, the duo discovered a natural affinity for playing together with minimal communication\, instead responding intuitively to each other’s musical ideas. With a strong emphasis on improvisation and deep exploration of their instruments\, each Raw Image performance is shaped in real time—resulting in sets that are truly unique and unpredictable. \nLineup: \n\nRaw Image\nMarius\nFrau Lou\nUninvited\n\n  \nClick “INTERESTED” and donate on RA. \nSign up below for an email reminder for the event delivered to your inbox: \n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n FREE RSVP HERE

SUMMARY:Immersive\, Evolving Soundscapes Masterclass with NAOBA
DESCRIPTION:343 Labs Berlin is proud to welcome NAOBA as part of our Visiting Artist Masterclass series! \nIn this workshop\, NAOBA will share her process of building Ableton Live templates that allow her to create and transform sound in real time during performances. Using her archive of field recordings\, NAOBA designs flexible systems with Max for Live devices\, custom effect chains\, and macro-mapped MIDI controllers\, allowing the templates to function as expressive instruments alongside live flute and voice. \nNAOBA will demonstrate how raw environmental recordings are organized\, layered\, and continuously reshaped through macro controls\, spatial effects\, and live processing. This approach enables fluid improvisation and the creation of immersive\, evolving soundscapes during concerts or streaming performances. \nThere will also be space for discussion and questions about workflow\, template architecture\, and creative approaches to sound design and live performance. \nAbout the Artist:\n \nTamara Montenegro (NAOBA) is a sound artist\, producer\, and researcher working at the intersection of bioacoustics\, psychoacoustics\, and music composition. Her practice explores how sound shapes human perception\, emotional states\, and the nervous system\, drawing deeply from field recordings collected in forests\, oceans\, and remote ecosystems. Through these recordings\, she creates immersive soundscapes that reconnect listeners with the living intelligence of the Earth. \nTamara holds a Master’s degree in Sound Art from the Universitat de Barcelona and a background in Biology\, which informs her scientific and ecological approach to listening. Her work spans music releases\, spatial sound installations\, workshops\, and research initiatives such as Heart in Nature and the Gaia Sound Temple\, platforms dedicated to preserving and transmitting the voices of natural environments. \nPerforming and releasing music under the name NAOBA\, she combines organic recordings with synthesis and production techniques to create deeply atmospheric compositions. Through her workshops\, she shares practical tools and creative approaches for transforming raw environmental sound into expressive\, emotionally resonant sonic works. \n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n FREE RSVP HERE

SUMMARY:Ableton User Group Berlin w/ Keanu Raves
DESCRIPTION:The Berlin Ableton User Group is back! This meetup is open to producers\, songwriters\, DJs\, and musicians of all types and proficiency levels who use Ableton and are looking to exchange ideas\, network\, meet like-minded producers\, and learn new tips and tricks from our presenters and fellow participants.\n \n\n\n\nFor this month’s Ableton User Group\, we will be exploring FM Synthesis. In this workshop\, you will learn how to utilize FM Synthesis to design your own unique synth sounds. For demonstration purposes\, we will be focusing on the use of Ableton’s stock FM synth\, Operator\, but the concepts you learn can easily be applied to any FM-style synth. \nWe will cover what FM Synthesis is\, and how it differs from other styles of sound synthesis\, understanding key parameters of FM style synths (e.g. Carrier\, Modulator\, Ratio\, Algorithm\, Operator)\, and practical sound design examples. \nAbout the artist: \nKeanu Raves is an Ōtautahi (New Zealand) producer and DJ who began his journey through the underground in 2018 after an inspiring night out at the Berlin techno institution Tresor. This inspiration still courses through his music\, which veers between classic Detroit style grooves and the reverb drenched chord-stab heavy sound of Berlin.  \n2023 saw Keanu release music on Keepsakes’ imprint Haven\, and for the Swedish techno imprint Substantiv\, as well as make his international DJ debut for Copenhagen-based party Gag.  \nIn May 2024 Keanu made the move to Berlin\, where he is now based\, to deeper immerse himself in the international techno scene. Through 2024 – 2025\, Keanu released a plethora of music across various international labels including Mood Supplier (UK)\, Synapsa (Poland)\, Rave Your Soul (Croatia/Netherlands)\, Diffuse Reality (Germany/Spain) and Trau-ma (Portugal). \n\n\n\nLinks: \n\n\n\nSoundcloud \nInstagram\nBandcamp \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n FREE RSVP HERE

SUMMARY:The Art of Storytelling as a DJ Masterclass with Djoid
DESCRIPTION:Behind every unforgettable DJ set is more than just mixing skills\, it’s the art of curation. In this hands-on session\, we’ll dive into the art and workflow of preparing sets that tell a story. Together\, we’ll explore: \n\nThe phases of a DJ set – how to think beyond tracks and shape the night in stages.\nDesigning in chapters – structuring your playlists into journeys that flow with the crowd.\nTagging your library efficiently – practical methods to keep your music searchable\, organized\, and inspiring.\nThinking in chapters – a mindset shift that transforms your preparation process.\nLive example: preparing for a gig with Djoid – watch a set come together step by step using next-generation curation tools.\nWhether you’re a headliner or bedroom DJ\, you’ll walk away with new techniques to prepare faster\, play with more confidence\, and connect deeper with your dancefloor.\n\nIn this workshop\, you’ll learn how to curate unforgettable DJ sets and use Djoid as a tool to help you with building chapters\, finding the right tracks at the right moment\, and elevating your sets with tools designed to match the way DJs actually think and play. \nAbout the artist: \nAlaa is a Berlin-based DJ\, music curator\, and founder of Djoid\, the award-winning music curation platform built for DJs. With over 15 years of experience collecting and performing music\, he has built a library of more than 30\,000 tracks that shape his sound identity. \nBefore starting Djoid\, Alaa led Data and Music Insights at Native Instruments\, where he worked closely with artists and the global DJ community to understand how technology can support creativity. \nDriven by the challenge of preparing DJ sets from vast collections\, he created Djoid to give DJs new ways to organize\, tag\, and design their music into stories. At this workshop\, Alaa will share both his personal approach to music preparation and practical techniques using Djoid\, showing how to think in chapters\, tag efficiently\, and transform gig prep into an inspiring part of the art. \n  \nAbout DJOID: \nBorn in Berlin’s music scene\, Djoid is a next-generation platform built by DJs. We know how overwhelming it can be to dig through thousands of tracks\, manage tags\, and spend long hours in your library to prepare for Gigs. That’s why we created Djoid\, a powerful curation tool that helps DJs organize\, search\, and shape their music into unforgettable journeys. \nWith visual playlists\, and unique curation workflows designed to match how djs think and play\, Djoid makes preparation faster and more creative\, so you can spend less time fighting chaos and more time crafting stories on the decks. \nLinks: \nDjoid.io\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n FREE RSVP HERE
