Max Wild
ABLETON LIVE, SONGWRITING, MUSIC THEORY
Max is an Ableton Certified Trainer who has been teaching music for over 15 years. A former instructor at Dubspot, you are as likely to find him playing the saxophone next to a DJ as you are to find him leading the Ableton User Groups in New York.
His degrees from renowned conservatories in London and NY didn’t stop him from following his real passion: Helping people channel their creativity to make music – aka teaching how to produce great music.
JULIA BORELLI
MIXING & MASTERING
Julia Borelli is a Berlin-based engineer from Brazil. Having spent her childhood and teenage years exploring different instruments, music has always been her passion.
A graduate from Point Blank London and SAE Institute Berlin, Julia has worked in well-renowned studios, such as the Grammy award-winning Post Modern Mastering, and JRS Recording Studio. Now a Riverside Studios resident, she runs and co-owns Nadoki Studios, a music studio mainly focused on mixing and mastering, where she’s worked with a variety of artists like Richie Hawtin, Anyma, Mind Against, Soel, Princess Century, and Lie Ning.
On the side, she also produces and DJs on the Dance /Electro Pop duo BORELLI.
Noah Pred
ABLETON LIVE
Noah Pred has been making music in various forms for the past two decades. Working with hardware samplers, sequencers and synthesisers, he began performing live sets of techno, house, and electro in the mid-nineties and began DJing with vinyl soon after.
He has since toured North America and Europe with his unique hybrid of dub, electro, techno, and house, issuing numerous releases on labels around the globe – and receiving two Canadian Juno Award nominations in the process.
As Canada’s very first Ableton Certified Trainer, he has taught a wide variety of techniques for stage and studio over the past five years, at institutions such as the Rich Media Institute, MacProVideo, FEED, Witz Education, and most recently at BIMM Berlin. His tutorial articles for Ask Audio and online courses for Ask Video are consistently among their most popular.
Peter Trimbacher
ABLETON LIVE
Using Ableton Live at the centre, Pete DJs and performs live improvisations under the moniker Metapattern which is a techno project encompassing many sub-genres such as broken beat, industrial, rave, polyrhythmic and deep styles.
CHRISTOPHER JARMAN
SOUND DESIGN & SYNTHESIS, MIXING & MASTERING, ABLETON LIVE
Christopher Jarman has 20 years professional music industry experience which has led to a variety of musical personas across many genres – as Kamikaze Space Programme, Dot Product and Raiden.
He has amassed over 150 vinyl releases and regularly performs at many of the world’s most infamous venues.
Charlie Baldwin
ABLETON LIVE, LIVE PERFORMANCE
Charlie Baldwin is also known as the artist Cocktail Party Effect and specialises in raw recordings, live atmosphere, glitched up vocals, and catchy melodies.
His first release entitled Torn Letters was published with DiaMind records. This was followed by a release called 4her on the highly respected label Screwloose Records.
VASSILIS MALAMAS
ELECTRONIC MUSIC COMPOSITION & ARRANGEMENT, ABLETON LIVE
Vassilis Malamas is a Greek Berlin-based audio/visual artist, music producer, performer, and creative technologist. His works exist in multiple mediums. As an audio/visual artist, he specializes in creating cohesive experiences through audio-reactive visuals, video & animation creation, and interactive system design. As a musician, his sound is described by combined electronic and acoustic instruments, creating unique timbres for his story to lie on.
He has composed and produced music for solo artists, theater plays, and also has been DJing for over ten years across Europe.
As an educator, he loves sharing ideas, techniques, and tools, with always a clear direction in mind: push the music forward.
