SUMMARY:Finishing Tracks With Biesmans - Live Studio Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Most producers don’t have an unfinished track problem. They have a too-much-going-on problem. Too many elements\, too many layers\, too many decisions left unmade. The track loses its identity somewhere in the process. \nThis workshop is about finding it again. \n  \nBiesmans — Berlin-based producer and DJ with nearly 30 years in the house and techno scene — opens up his actual working process in real time. No slides\, no theory\, no tutorial. Just a real track getting meaningfully better in front of the room. \nHow it works: \nParticipants submit an unfinished track in advance. Biesmans selects one\, preps it\, and works on it live during the session — talking through every decision as he makes it. The rest of the time is open Q&A where participants can bring their own questions and challenges. \nFormat: \n\nDuration: 3 hours\nParticipants submit one track + one question before the workshop\nLive session: 90–120 minutes\nOpen Q&A: 60 minutes\nWrap + next steps: 15 minutes\n\nAbout the artists: \nI’m Biesmans—Belgian-born\, Berlin-based. I make “Heart Groove”: house music that’s supposed to do three things: make you move\, make you feel something\, and connect you with the people around you. \nThe sound? Warm grooves\, analog synths\, melodies you’ll remember on the way home. Nothing overly complicated. Music that works on a dance floor — the kind that needs a few hours to really take you somewhere. \nI’ve played some incredible club spaces: Panoramabar\, Fabric\, Fuse\, Dedge. Festival stages: Tomorrowland\, Pukkelpop\, Exit\, Fusion. And plenty more rooms in between. \nMy music’s been released on Running Back\, Turbo Recordings\, Correspondant\, and my own label Muem Records. Made an album called Trains\, Planes and Automobiles\, and put together the Watergate 28 compilation with people like Mathew Jonson\, Zombies in Miami\, Kasper Bjørke\, and Shubostar. \nI’m passionate about synths — spend way too much time in the studio messing with machines and posting (POVs) about it. That’s how the music gets made: trial\, error\, and finding sounds that hit right. Currently working on a new album for 2026. Same mission as always: create moments on dancefloors where people lose themselves\, feel good\, and remember why they love this music in the first place. \nLinks: \nSoundcloud\nInstagram \n\n\n\n \n  \nBy attending this event\, you acknowledge that you may be photographed or recorded. SUMMARY:Ableton For Guitarists with Owen Ross
DESCRIPTION:Producers who play guitar often hit the same wall: the guitar sounds good\, but getting it to sit right in a modern mix is another story. Owen Ross built Guitar Mix Toolkit Vol. 1 to solve exactly that — and in this session he’s demonstrating it publicly for the first time.\nAbleton User Group Berlin is open to producers\, songwriters\, DJs\, and musicians of all types and proficiency levels who use Ableton and are looking to exchange ideas\, network\, meet like-minded producers\, and learn new tips and tricks from our presenters and fellow participants. \nAbout the Artist: \nOwen is a Berlin-based producer\, guitarist\, and music educator with a decade of experience bridging the worlds of live guitar playing and modern music production. A Berklee College of Music graduate\, he has worked across hip-hop\, electronic\, pop\, and global music — with credits including The Who\, Jazzanova\, Jaykae\, and Shekhinah — and has contributed multiple commercial sample packs to Splice.\n \nAs both a guitarist who produces and a producer who plays guitar\, Owen has spent years solving the same problem his students face: getting guitar to sit right in a modern mix. That question is what led him to build Guitar Mix Toolkit Vol. 1 — a set of Ableton tools designed specifically for producers who play guitar. He teaches music production and songwriting at 343 Labs in Berlin.\n\nLinks:\nWebsite

SUMMARY:Raw Image EP release - Live Electronic Showcase at Madame Claude
DESCRIPTION:On Friday March 27th\, 343 Labs takes over Madame Claude for a live set electronic showcase to celebrate the release of a new hardware techno project Raw Image. Entry is free / by donation. Come for an evening of inspiring electronic music by 343 Labs staff and graduates with a decidedly live\, hardware and improvisational approach. \n \nRaw Image\, the live techno duo from Leo Wieber and Cameron Hoy (Keanu Raves)\, have been collaborating together since meeting through a summer internship at Berlin-based music production school 343 Labs in 2025. The pair quickly bonded over a shared appreciation for Tresor Records and hardware focused techno production which inspired them to begin regular improvised jam sessions together. \nThrough these sessions\, the duo discovered a natural affinity for playing together with minimal communication\, instead responding intuitively to each other’s musical ideas. With a strong emphasis on improvisation and deep exploration of their instruments\, each Raw Image performance is shaped in real time—resulting in sets that are truly unique and unpredictable. \nLineup: \n\nRaw Image\nMarius\nFrau Lou\nUninvited\n\n  \nClick “INTERESTED” and donate on RA. \nSign up below for an email reminder for the event delivered to your inbox:

SUMMARY:Immersive\, Evolving Soundscapes Masterclass with NAOBA
DESCRIPTION:343 Labs Berlin is proud to welcome NAOBA as part of our Visiting Artist Masterclass series! \nIn this workshop\, NAOBA will share her process of building Ableton Live templates that allow her to create and transform sound in real time during performances. Using her archive of field recordings\, NAOBA designs flexible systems with Max for Live devices\, custom effect chains\, and macro-mapped MIDI controllers\, allowing the templates to function as expressive instruments alongside live flute and voice. \nNAOBA will demonstrate how raw environmental recordings are organized\, layered\, and continuously reshaped through macro controls\, spatial effects\, and live processing. This approach enables fluid improvisation and the creation of immersive\, evolving soundscapes during concerts or streaming performances. \nThere will also be space for discussion and questions about workflow\, template architecture\, and creative approaches to sound design and live performance. \nAbout the Artist:\n \nTamara Montenegro (NAOBA) is a sound artist\, producer\, and researcher working at the intersection of bioacoustics\, psychoacoustics\, and music composition. Her practice explores how sound shapes human perception\, emotional states\, and the nervous system\, drawing deeply from field recordings collected in forests\, oceans\, and remote ecosystems. Through these recordings\, she creates immersive soundscapes that reconnect listeners with the living intelligence of the Earth. \nTamara holds a Master’s degree in Sound Art from the Universitat de Barcelona and a background in Biology\, which informs her scientific and ecological approach to listening. Her work spans music releases\, spatial sound installations\, workshops\, and research initiatives such as Heart in Nature and the Gaia Sound Temple\, platforms dedicated to preserving and transmitting the voices of natural environments. \nPerforming and releasing music under the name NAOBA\, she combines organic recordings with synthesis and production techniques to create deeply atmospheric compositions. Through her workshops\, she shares practical tools and creative approaches for transforming raw environmental sound into expressive\, emotionally resonant sonic works.
