343 Labs Berlin Tag der offenen Tür & Masterclass

This masterclass features a collaborative discussion between 343 Labs instructor and mix/master engineer Rob Rox and 343 Labs alumni and house producer Aleks O about launching an artist project. In part one of the talk, they break down the production of Aleks O’s latest release, walking through the Ableton project and discussing important musical decisions. In part two of the event, they will dive into the release plan for the track, discussing the template they have developed for each release and the philosophy behind how to launch an artist career for maximum impact.

Rob Rox is a multi-international gold, platinum and diamond-certified mixing and mastering engineer and producer with more than 4+ billion streams, and an instructor of Mixing & Mastering and Vocal Production at 343 Labs Berlin. His talent and experience have helped many artists achieve worldwide success. He has worked with many top-tier musicians including Lupe Fiasco, Imagine Dragons, Ellie Goulding, Tove Lo, Banks, Kungs, Seven Lions, and many others. He has worked with various record labels such as Virgin Records, Universal Music, Capitol, Casablanca Records, Interscope Records, Harvest Records, Atlantic Records, Selected and Majestic Casual.

Aleks O is a Berlin-based DJ, music producer and entrepreneur whose life reads like a movie. Classically trained from a young age in piano and guitar, he got admitted to the music conservatory at age 13 and composed symphonic miniatures by 16 before leaving it all behind for an investment career in London. Years later, music and the Berlin underground called, and he listened. Now fusing electronic grooves with jazz undertones and classical finesse, Aleks O delivers deeply textured, danceable sets and productions which are speaking their own distinct language: emotional, full of groove and warmth.
