In this masterclass, Ableton Certified Trainer Peter Trimbacher will discuss the importance of expression in digitally-made music, giving an overview of producing music with Ableton Live and the techniques he uses to get his ideas from his head to his DAW. Learn music production tips and tricks and why Ableton Live is a popular software among music producers. There will be material for beginner and more experienced producers, so it doesn’t matter what level of producer you are; you are welcome to attend and learn new ideas.
During the first part of the event, 343 Labs will present an Open House, where attendees can meet some of the instructors, network with like-minded producers, and learn about 343 Labs courses. This is an excellent opportunity to get a feel for the community and programs at 343 Labs and ask any questions you may have about our school.
About the artist: Originally from Australia and now based in Berlin, Peter Trimbacher has been involved in the electronic music industry for 20 years as an artist, event promoter, independent label owner, and educator. Using Ableton Live as his centerpiece, Peter DJs and performs live improvisations under the moniker Metapattern, focusing on 90s techno with a modern twist. His works can be heard on labels such as MORD, Truncate, Float, and Hayes. Pete is an Ableton-certified trainer, a regular freelance contributor of technical production articles, and the recent author of The Secrets of Techno Production, published by Attack Magazine UK.
