In order for an artist to create their best work, their studio should be a place that is both technically precise and also aesthetically beautiful and inspiring to work in. Whereas traditional recording studios often go to great lengths to treat their spaces for pristine recording quality, electronic music producers often work in smaller studios with less-than-ideal acoustic conditions. GIK Acoustics redefines auditory experiences with distinctive acoustic absorption and diffusion products created with environmentally conscious materials. Together with 343 Labs, they are bringing together a panel of experts to discuss creating ideal production studios for electronic musicians.
Joining the panel will be experts from GIK Acoustics, 343 Labs, HEDD Audio and Riverside Studios. This panel discussion will go into topics such as how to choose and design your ideal studio space, where and when to use absorption and diffusion, loudspeaker implementation, and how to create an inspiring studio on any budget.
