DJ Masterclass by Speaker Honey & 343 Labs Open House 

343 Labs is excited to announce the launch of DJ Fundamentals and DJ Immersive classes in Berlin starting July 2025!

For this very special free class preview event, Speaker Honey will share her experience and expertise as a professional club DJ. The masterclass is geared towards brand new and beginner-to-intermediate DJs looking to start their artistic journey or to level up!

During the first part of the event, 343 Labs will present an Open House, where attendees can meet some of the instructors, network with like-minded producers, and learn about 343 Labs courses. This is an excellent opportunity to get a feel for the community and programs at 343 Labs and ask any questions you may have about our school. Come enjoy your free class, meet 343 Labs instructors, staff and students, and get to check out our studios and facilities in person.

About the presenter:

Speaker Honey, is a music production and DJ art project created by Kirsty (Kiki) Parker. Speaker Honey sonically and visually reflects the most current sounds of electronic dance music, influenced by the underground and mainstage sounds spanning the United States, Europe and Japan. Dark, heavily electronic, and futuristic…are easy words to describe Speaker Honey. Personally, Kiki shines with immense positive energy and an obvious passion for the pursuit of recording and performing the musical artists as a whole.

Since her first release in 2019 on mau5trap WAFV9, Speaker Honey continued to release three four track eps on mau5trap. During this time, releases included an official deadmau5 remix, and following releases on Octopus Records, Jannowitz Records, Berlin based SNOE records, Set About records and a selection of high profile remixes. Now Speaker Honey’s most current releases are featured on her own label, 3 Flame Records, which is dually based out of Downtown Los Angeles and Berlin. She is building the 3 Flame Records Studio 13 now at Riverside Studios Berlin, and is beginning to work towards a hardware liveset.

FLINTA* SuperBooth Afterparty Nadia Struiwigh live set & Q/A – presented by FLINTA Music Producers of Berlin and 343 Labs

Saturday May 10th at 19:00, 343 Labs and FLINTA* Producers of Berlin host a FLINTA*-only Superbooth Afterparty at Riverside Studios. Headlining the event is the incredible Nadia Struiwigh, a live artist and producer whose work spans deep ambience, electro, and techno. Her immersive performances and masterful use of synthesis and sequencing create a spellbinding sonic experience drawn from a deeply personal and expressive sound palette. At the event, Nadia Struiwigh will perform a live electronic set and host an intimate Q&A session, offering insight into her performance process.

Note about FLINTA*:

FLINTA* is an acronym used to represent a coalition of gender identities, primarily those who experience discrimination due to their gender. It stands for “Frauen, Lesben, Intergeschlechtliche, Nichtbinäre, Trans und Agender Personen,” meaning women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender people. The asterisk indicates that it is also inclusive of other gender identities and orientations. This event is open only to FLINTA* attendees of SuperBooth and members of the FLINTA* Producers or Berlin group. All attendees will be asked to identify themselves as FLINTA* at the door.

Berlin Community Feedback Session on April 27

Community Feedback Session

343 Labs introduces an intimate Community Feedback Session for Berlin producers of all skill-levels and genres to share their music and get feedback from professionals and peers. The event is also a great way to meet like-minded producers, hear new and exciting music, and check out the facilities at 343 Labs . Feel free to bring a snack and drink for yourself or to share.

HOST: Matthew Martinez AKA Sentient Number Six

Guidelines:

  • Space is limited and offered on a first-come-first-served basis, so sign up early to ensure getting a spot.
  • It is preferred you bring your laptop with a project file in your DAW if you would like any feedback on arrangement, mixing, structure, etc.
  • Feedback lengths will depend on the number of signups with an average of 10-15 minutes per person.
  • Tracks don’t have to be “finished” and can be works in progress.
  • Feel free to bring a drink or snack (BYOB).

These sessions are free with your RSVP.

In this masterclass, Ableton Certified Trainer Peter Trimbacher will discuss the importance of expression in digitally-made music, giving an overview of producing music with Ableton Live and the techniques he uses to get his ideas from his head to his DAW. Learn music production tips and tricks and why Ableton Live is a popular software among music producers. There will be material for beginner and more experienced producers, so it doesn’t matter what level of producer you are; you are welcome to attend and learn new ideas. 

During the first part of the event, 343 Labs will present an Open House, where attendees can meet some of the instructors, network with like-minded producers, and learn about 343 Labs courses. This is an excellent opportunity to get a feel for the community and programs at 343 Labs and ask any questions you may have about our school.

About the artist: Originally from Australia and now based in Berlin, Peter Trimbacher has been involved in the electronic music industry for 20 years as an artist, event promoter, independent label owner, and educator. Using Ableton Live as his centerpiece, Peter DJs and performs live improvisations under the moniker Metapattern, focusing on 90s techno with a modern twist. His works can be heard on labels such as MORD, Truncate, Float, and Hayes. Pete is an Ableton-certified trainer, a regular freelance contributor of technical production articles, and the recent author of The Secrets of Techno Production, published by Attack Magazine UK.

Kirsty Parker, aka Speaker Honey, is a classically-trained musician turned electronic music producer, DJ, and record label head from Los Angeles, California. Her sounds span techno, electro, trance and beyond. From bedroom producer to touring artist, working with coveted labels such as Mau5trap, Octopus Recordings & more, launching her own 3 Flame Records and recording studio; this story is one for the books.

For this special Masterclass, presented in collaboration with FLINTA* Producers of Berlin, Speaker Honey will visit 343 Labs at Riverside Studios to talk personally about this journey.

The topics of this class will address key information on maintaining professional credibility in the music scene, including the unspoken language of studio politics, the challenges and rewards of presenting one’s self as an artist, and how to navigate life before and after getting signed.
