Join us on Tuesday, November 23 for a free music production masterclass and Open House. Learn from an expert producer how to jump-start making your own music and how to turn your musical ideas into songs. In this masterclass, we’ll be showing you how to get started with all things music production – from what equipment to buy, what software to invest in, creativity, inspiration, and how to put this all together to make your first track.

During the event, 343 Labs will be opening its doors for an Open House, where attendees can get a tour of the facilities, learn about 343 Labs courses, and meet some of the instructors. This is a great way to get a feel for the community and programs at 343 Labs, meet fellow producers, and ask any questions you may have about our school.

343 Labs Music Production Masterclass & Open House

Join us on Thursday, October 21 for a free Music Production Masterclass with 343 Labs mixing instructor Marian Hafenstein, and learn how to achieve a commercial sounding mix using only a laptop and software. Many of today’s software plugins have become so advanced that they can rival and replicate the sound of expensive analog gear. Get introduced to these tools and pick up tips and tricks that professional mix engineers use daily, to mix some of the biggest records in our industry.

Before the masterclass, 343 Labs will be opening its doors for an Open House, for attendees to get a tour of the facilities, learn about 343 Labs courses, and meet some of the instructors. This is a great way to get a feel for the community and programs at 343 Labs, meet fellow producers, and ask any questions you may have about our courses.

About the Presenter: Marian Hafenstein is a recording and mixing and mastering engineer based in Berlin. After graduating from Abbey Road Institute Berlin, he cut his teeth at the iconic Studios 301 in Sydney, Australia. He is now an engineer at JRS Recording Studio in Berlin and also works out of his own studio. Marian works with a wide variety of musical styles and artists such as Hyukoh, Rina Sawayama and Nina Chuba.

Join us on Wednesday, May 12 for a free music production masterclass and Open House. In this masterclass, Ableton Certified Trainer Max Wild, will share his workflow techniques on how to turn musical ideas into full arrangements. The masterclass will demonstrate how to get from the idea stage of writing a strong melody, chords, and basslines to fleshing out the song in the arrangement phase, making use of sound design and mixing tools along the way. Both beginner and advanced producers will have plenty to learn and are welcome.

Max Wild is German producer, educator, and multi-instrumentalist who spent most of his life living in New York. His music fuses his diverse influences, from electronic to jazz and world sounds. He is the founder of 343 Labs and leads the Ableton User Group in New York.

Fueled by a passion for beautiful melodies, syncopated rhythms, and the healing nature of music, Aurka blends live instrumentation with virtual sounds to create a lush sonic experience. Drawing inspiration from techno, world music, and jazz, Aurka carefully crafts its signature sound by fusing a wide range of artistic influences.
