This session is a free event and will be hosted on Zoom, open to anyone interested in diving into Music Production.
About the Instructors:
Pedro Passoni, also known as Melon Blush, is a Brazilian producer and DJ who delves into multidirectional sounds, crafting hybrid electronic music by blending diverse musical genres and timbres. His work combines futuristic, contemporary, and classic elements, weaving stories that traverse time and space, all while breaking free from conventional boundaries.
Transiting between bases in Berlin and São Paulo, Melon Blush has performed at festivals and clubs such as Universo Paralello (Pratigi/BR), Sisyphos (Berlin/DE), D-EDGE (São Paulo/BR), Klein Garten (Istanbul/TR) Oddity (Athens/GR), Bad Festival (Brussels/BE), Cargo 111 (Lisbon/PT), Carlos Capslock (São Paulo/BR) Mensch Meier (Berlin/DE), Mundo Psicodélico Festival (São Paulo/BR), Formula 1 (São Paulo/BR), and many others. His productions have received the likes of artists such as Tiga, Monika Kruse, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Alex Stein, L_cio, Shall Ocin, Floyd Lavine, Mita Gami, Renato Cohen, Tessuto, and Victor Ruiz. Melon Blush has also released on Turbo Recordings (founded by Tiga) and Clash Lion Records (founded by Shall Ocin) and is part of Truelove Music publishing’s roster.
“Music has always been about experimenting. At some point, someone picked up a piece of wood and started drumming. Without stereotypes and free to create. That’s the mindset I embrace when composing. Music is one of our essential resources for living as human beings — to express ourselves, explore, play, and constantly discover new paths and combinations. For me, it will always be about that.”
